Summer Mission Trips for Northwest Youth
This June some of our dedicated youth will be venturing to Asheville, NC and some to the upstate of South Carolina to participate in a week of service. From June 11th-18th our high schoolers will be traveling to Laurens, SC for the Salkehatchie Summer Service program. During this week about 75 youth and adults will come together to provide essential repairs to six home sites where the homeowners would otherwise not be able to afford the materials or labor. Our middle schoolers will be attending Asheville Youth Mission to serve in a variety of urban settings from June 19th to June 24th. Their work will include projects at homeless shelters, community education programs, and food banks. The days will be long but the spiritual rewards will be great! Please continue to pray for our participants: Helen Holderread, Claire Boggess, Graham Boggess, Cele Camp, Daniel Llewellyn, Anna Pohl, and Jonathan Pohl.
