Campus and Facilities
Northwest Presbyterian is located on 13 wooded acres at 4300 Northside Drive in Atlanta's Buckhead community. The sanctuary and other church buildings blend in beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating a campus that is quiet and serene, yet brimming with life.
In addition to our sanctuary, our facilities include a Family Life Center, which houses the church offices, Thorington Hall, Children's Worship Center, and adult Sunday School classrooms; a Children's Education Building; a Youth Lodge, specially designated for Youth Sunday School and fellowship activities; and a gymnasium. A Scout Hut is home to Boy Scout Troop 232 and Cub Scout Pack 232. Several other community organizations utilize our facilities and grounds, including the Buckhead Preparatory School, NYO and Jacob's Ladder.
Designed to be in harmony with its surroundings, our Children's Playpark offers a safe and stimulating setting for children to explore the outdoors and God’s creation. Climbing rocks, stepping stones, built-in slides, swings, a bridge and log tunnel keep children active. A toddler area keeps the younger set engaged, and parents can sit back and relax on inviting benches.
Our grounds include a nature path leading to an outdoor seating area; a Birthday Garden and Rose Garden; and a Remembrance Garden for the interment of cremated remains.
